Amy Day, LPCC

Amy Day has been a dedicated member of Midwest Psychiatric Center since 2022 and is a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience. She has clinical experience in individual and group therapy, community-based counseling, and school-based support, serving clients aged 7 and up.

Amy primarily utilizes EMDR Therapy in her practice, though she is also skilled in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). She integrates Mindfulness strategies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)techniques, and Play Therapy, always focusing on providing personalized, client-centered care.

With expertise in treating Complex/Developmental Trauma and an interest in Perinatal Mental Health, Amy is passionate about supporting individuals through a wide range of life challenges.

Outside of therapy, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. She is also an avid traveler and musician, with a particular love for playing drums and percussion.
