Leah Fogt, LISW-S, LCSW

Leah has been with Midwest Psych since 2012.  She has clinical experience in individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, home-based treatment, and school-based counseling.  She currently provides outpatient services to clients age 7 and up.  

Leah’s primary treatment model is EMDR Therapy, however she is prepared to utilize and integrate other therapeutic approaches as well.  She is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution Focused Brief Treatment, and Psychodynamics.  She integrates mindfulness strategies, bibliotherapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy practices, and play into work with clients, emphasizing individualized, client-centered care. 

​Some of Leah’s specialty areas include treating Complex/Developmental Trauma, ethical integration of client spirituality in psychotherapy, as well as healing Religious Abuse and Spiritual Trauma.  

Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with husband and two children.  She enjoys music, art, spending time outdoors, and watching sports with her family.
